What to Look For

- Sharp or exposed edges
- Any condition that interferes with normal use
If a product appears significantly damaged or cannot be used as intended, discontinue use.
Packing, Capacity & Weight
Products designed for carrying, organizing, or storing belongings should be used within reasonable limits appropriate to their size, construction, and intended purpose.
Avoid overpacking or placing excessive weight in a product. Excessive loads may place unnecessary stress on seams, handles, straps, closures, attachment points, or other components.
Do not force a compartment, zipper, buckle, or other closure when the contents prevent it from operating normally.
If a specific weight, capacity, or usage limit is provided for a product, follow that guidance.
Secure Products Before Carrying or Travel
Before carrying, moving, or packing a product for travel, make sure applicable zippers, buckles, straps, handles, hooks, and other closures are properly positioned and secured.
Controlled Use — Operate adjustable or movable components with normal, controlled pressure.
Avoid Force — Do not pull, twist, or force components beyond their intended range.
Check Connections — Make sure detachable or adjustable parts are properly secured before use.
Keep Clear — Keep fingers, loose clothing, and other objects clear of closing or moving components where appropriate.
Damaged Components — Do not rely on visibly damaged components to support or secure belongings.
If an object becomes caught in a closure or moving component, stop and carefully remove the obstruction rather than forcing the mechanism.

Take additional precautions when carrying liquids, toiletries, sharp objects, fragile items, electronics, documents, or other belongings that may require special handling.

Ordinary travel organizers should not be assumed to provide impact protection unless that feature is specifically stated.
Heat, Fire & Unsafe Environments
Use Caution
Unless a product is specifically designed for such conditions, do not use or place it near:
- Open flames
- Excessive heat or hot surfaces
- Conditions involving prolonged high temperatures
- Harsh or incompatible chemicals
- Environments that may damage or weaken the product
- Other conditions inconsistent with its intended use
Use additional caution where a product contains plastic components, coatings, adhesives, fasteners, or other materials that may be affected by environmental conditions.
Do not use a product in an environment for which it is not designed.
Children & Household Safety
Some products may include straps, cords, fasteners, detachable components, packaging materials, or other features that may not be appropriate for unsupervised use by young children.
- Keep packaging materials away from children.
- Keep small or detachable components out of reach where they may present a hazard.
- Provide suitable adult supervision based on the product and the user's age.

Products intended for general travel or organization should not automatically be considered toys or children's products unless specifically identified as such.
